Terms and Conditions
Important Information
There are strict rules enforced by the Dubai Coast Guard for all yacht and boat vendors. If any of the rules are compromised, then we have the right to pass on the fines to any of the guests. This would happen in the case when the rules set by the coastguards, and captain and crew would not be followed.
- Each and every guest has to be required by the law to carry their original Emirates ID.
- As a tourist, you need to carry your original passport.
- As a resident, you are required to carry an Emirates ID, Emirates Driving License, and passport.
- If the guests do not have any of the above-mentioned documents with them, then there is a fine worth AED 1500 per person as per the damage waiver agreement.
- If any of the guests are seen abusing alcohol or following reckless behaviour, then this might result in hefty fines or termination of the yacht without any refunds.
- It is compulsory for guests to wear life jackets, whenever the coast guards make it necessary or provide the guests with a weather warning.
- Dumping garbage, or littering in the water is not tolerated in any case, and can be punishable by the law.
- If the guests wish to swim, then make sure they are swimming before the sunset, and within the span of three metres from the yacht/boat. Swimming further than this limit will not be tolerated by the coastguard.
- Jumping from the yacht while it is anchored, or underway will not be permitted in any case. Moreover, this also might get the yacht/boat terminated without refunds.
Number of Guests
Make sure that the final number of guests is confirmed a night before. The confirmed number of people must be there in the boat/yacht the next day.
Catering Policy
- If the guests have opted for the catering service, then make sure that they provide the number of the catering a night before. In the case of cancellation or amendment of the amount of catering, the full charges would be applied.
- The guests are not allowed to bring their own catering onboard.
- In case, the guests wish to bring their own food, then make sure that they bring some of the dry food onboard. Some of these foods might include pizzas, sandwiches, chips/crisps, snacks, etc.
- The guests might have to arrange their own cutlery, and plates.
Children Policy
- The captain and crew present on board are there to handle and navigate the boat/yacht and are not fully responsible for handling the children.
- According to the coast guard orders, children under the age group of 10 years must wear a life jacket, while they are in the water or on the deck.
- People under the age of 21 years, must be supervised by a mature adult.
Clothing
- Make sure that you remove the footwear before boarding the yachts
- For clothing, make sure that you wear something which is comfortable.
Damage Waiver and Liabilities
- When the guests arrive at the Marina, they will be asked to provide pre-authorisation on their credit card of AED 1,500. If they are unable to provide, then they might have to provide this security deposit in cash. This security deposit will be returned to you by the end of the trip.
- Your security deposit can be used in the case of covering the damages, or for covering any of the additional services that you have chosen onboard.
- If any damage is caused to the yacht/boat by the client or the guest, the cost of the damages will be notified to the client in writing within 24 hours.
- Any extra cleaning of the boat/yacht will be considered an extra charge.
- If the boat/yacht is charged with any fine by the local marine authority due to failure to comply with the rules, then the guest would be deemed chargeable under the damage waiver.
- We do not take any responsibility for any loss or extra expenses incurred by any injury, death, sickness, or accident.
- Guests are not allowed to take any pet or animal onboard.
- Smoking is not allowed within the yacht. Guests are allowed to smoke while they are on the yacht deck. If any guest fails to comply with the rules, it will immediately cause the termination of the charter.
Cancellations & Refunds
- We possess the right to cancel any of the bookings the guests have made. During the cancellation, we will not be taking any liability.
- The conditions of the cancellations are either bad weather conditions or mechanical failures. Coastguard restrictions and enforcement of new laws prohibiting the charter from going ahead are included.
Cancellation fee retention policy
- 50% of the booking value is kept up to 72 hours before the booking time and date.
- 100% of the booking value is kept up to 72 hours of the booking time and date.
- These are the conditions in which the guest would get the full refund upon the cancellation:
- Weather is considered to be unsafe or if the coastguard issues a warning.
- We fail to provide the service during a certain date of the booking.
- The cancellation must be confirmed by the client before the time of the boat/yacht lapsing.
All of the captain and crew present onboard are hired on the basis of their qualification and experience. So, you don’t have to worry about the capabilities of the crew present onboard. They are experts in their field of delivering yachts/boats, it should be ensured that the guests/clients are respectful of that. The order of the captain is final and guests must comply with that. Any cases of anti-social or abusive behaviour towards the crew and captain would not be entertained for a second. This kind of behaviour can get your charter terminated without any refund.
Online Payment Terms
- If you are using a Visa or Mastercard, then make sure that you know that the transaction will be made in the AED currency.
- If the customer is a minor, or under the age of 18 would not be considered a user on the website, and would not be able to do any transactions.
- We possess the right to charge any of the cardholders with the charges of damages, or violations.
